Five CISS students were selected by the Defense Intelligence Agency to participate in the 2018 National Security Analysis and Intelligence Summer Seminar hosted by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence’s IC-Centers for Academic Excellence program.  CISS students Margaret Dykes, Christina Pendergrast, Ann Weston Sistrunk, and Jackson Zolper attended the two-week event in the Washington D.C. area and interacted with students from other universities’ intelligence programs.  The seminar gave students an opportunity to meet with senior officers from across the IC, visit intelligence agencies’ headquarters, learn about best practices in writing and briefing in the IC, and participate in a week-long simulation that required students to work in a team environment to provide intelligence support to policymakers in a crisis situation.
