CISS Student Presents at SEC Cyber Security Conference

Claire Dutreix was selected to represent the CISS and present a poster at the 2018 SEC Academic Conference, Cyber Security: A Shared Responsibility, held at Auburn University on April 8-10, 2018.  Claire’s poster focused on child predators’ use of the internet to identify potential victims, and it received multiple votes in the competition for best poster.  Speakers at the conference included Andrew Case, Director of Research at Volexity; Glenn Gaffney, Executive Vice President of In-Q-Tel; Bill Newhouse, Deputy Director of the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education at the National Institute of Standards and Technology; Admiral Michael S. Rogers, United States Navy, Commander of US CYBERCOM and Director of the National Security Agency; and Ray Rothrock, Chairman and CEO of RedSeal.
