On Monday, November 5th, Francis Gary Powers Jr., son of former U-2 pilot Francis Gary Powers Sr., presented a lecture titled “The U-2 Incident: A Son’s Search for the Truth” at the University of Mississippi Law School Weems Auditorium at 3 pm. He discussed his father’s intelligence missions during the Cold War, including his 1962 downed flight over the Soviet Union and captivity.
