CISS Welcomes Middle East Expert Dr. Michael Rubin

The CISS, Trent Lott Leadership Institute, and American Enterprise Institute (AEI) Council on April 30, 2018 co-hosted Middle East Scholar Dr. Michael Rubin, who delivered a presentation entitled “The Dangers of Diplomacy” that compared the Trump administration’s foreign policy with the policies of previous administrations.  Dr. Rubin is a resident scholar at AEI, where he researches Arab politics, the Gulf Cooperation Council, Iran, Iraq, the Kurds, terrorism, and Turkey.  He concurrently teaches classes on terrorism for the FBI and on security, politics, religion, and history for US and NATO military units.
